About Me

** My place is 3 hours north of NYC**

I like to make things. I enjoy pizza and cathedrals. I value empathy and curiosity.

On a Saturday night you can find me listening to a record with my cat or hosting an open mic in our apartment.

If you request to stay with us, you can expect warmth and movement. There’s rarely a night without artistic expression of some kind in our space.

Please note that being respectful of queerness in our home is a must.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My interest in Couchsurfing in twofold.

1) Meeting new people makes life better.

2) The cheaper the travel, the more interesting the stories.

Interests

I’ve lately been interested in the Beat Generation. I like the way they thought about words. The understood how a word might have the right color, but the wrong shape. I also admire how prolific they were. They wrotewrotewrote first thought best thought wrote.
That inspires me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played an original song for Glen Hansard on his guitar.
He said it was lovely and kissed me on the cheek.

walked 100 miles on the Camino Primitivo.

Independently crowdfunded $5,000 during college for the making of this record:
