Hey I´m Laura,
well about me... I'm a german girl, who is very open minded, cheerful and very curious about new things. I love to do sports and have an enormous passion for art. In general I love to be around people and get into new adventures.
I moved a lot in my childhood and lived in 3 different countries and 5 different places. I grew up with two "little" brothers, who mean the world to me.
Well and that's me so far... I really hope it is enough information about me to get a little impression of mine and should you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here we go:

1. I think it is the coolest invention ever! I mean you can travel around the world, meet new people, get to know a culture of a whole new perspective and have a local guide! Hell yeah that's awesome!
2. I have no money...
and
3. well there is no third actually. And seriously I think those arguments above definitely hit the bull´s eye :)

Music, Movies, and Books

uhhhh hell alright this is gonna be very difficult...
To music my favorite tracks are changing every week xD Generally I wouldn’t say I’ve got a special taste, what my favorite thing about music is that it brings people together, make them smile and understand each other even if u don’t speak the same language. And I love to dance and jam along xD
Before you expect deeper knowledge of interpreters I warn you right away: I nearly never know the names. I just know the songs.

I´m a big fan of Disney movies, I now classic but remember guys old is gold... And another films I really like is Hidden Figures, The women in gold, Coach Carter. And if I'm in the mood to watch a series I LOVE I really mean LOVE friends.

As older I got as less I take my time to read...
unfortunately because I like it to be decayed into one book and you can´t stop to read... Well maybe you have some recommendation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh gosh... I've done a lot of amazing things. One of my favorite things though was not a long time ago :)
A friend of mine (A.) and me thought about an incredible, absolute mind blowing present for J´s birthday. So we brainstormed together what could make a boys heart beat up a little faster. And thought about cars, fun fact here that we love cars a lot more than he actually does... However we wanted to rent a Ferrari for a day and pick him up for school. Problem no one of us had that much money to afford this and you have to be 25...
But this didn't stop us to create the most embarrassing moment/present in J´s life. So we decided to create our own Ferrari :) I designed the Embleme and taped her car. On top of that we tinkered a checkered flag, backed muffins and bought children's champagne (so that he can still do his graduation... otherwise it had been Tequila shots, but naaahhh). With loud music on, windows down and a complete good vibe we drove to his school and act total embarrassing. Nevertheless I think he was taking it easy and found it more funny than embarrassing.
After we dropped him at home, we drove back to our hometown and straight into a speed camera. Now a souvenir for lifetime :)

Well that was before my big trip to NZ :) one of the most spezial moments there for me was to watch the sunrise on rhe Mt Taranaki. It was stunning and every struggle worth!

Teach, Learn, Share

Well my modest personality can teach you how to draw Donald Duck (actually anything you want), how to play tennis and how to cook/bake and of course I can share my joy about living on the planet mother earth :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you about the greatest spots in Cologne no matter what. I can recommend museums, party spots, tourist hot spots, no gos, where you can get the yummiest food or/and where you can join the relaxed lifestyle of Cologne City. :)
Also I´m completely in to join you on these trips, if I'm free.

Side information here: I moved to Witten now, so I have to discover my new home at first before I can offer the same thing as for Cologne.
