I'm Laura and i'm from the UK. My boyfriend and I have just finished our degrees at the University of Leeds and are currently on a 1-year round the world trip. We are making our way through Asia, Australia, South and Central America and often need a place to stay. I love travelling, experiencing new cultures and meeting new people. My favourite things to do include exploring new cities, discovering local food, keeping active, playing lots of sport and anything outdoors and relaxing by the beach!

I have joined Couch Surfing because I think it is a great way to find authentic accommodation with a personal touch and will ensure that I get a unique experience of every country I visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well the obvious answer would be backpacking around the world but aside from that the most amazing thing i've done is climbed Mt. Blanc, the highest mountain in Western Europe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love trying new foods so anybody who can teach me how to cook their local delicacies would be welcomed! I should get quite good at this travelling thing having backpacked around Europe and now the rest of the world so I can share lots of stories and advice about that.
