About Me

Hi there:) I´m sry when I can respond fast to your messages but right now time is not my friend. Really busy with all the stuff life brings...So don´t be sad I will write you soon as possible back

Hey there!
I'm Laura from Ratisbona.
I'm excited to get to know new people and countries. I don't want to visit just the country i also want to get a glimps of its people and culture. So i thought, because i've heard much about couchsurfing , it would be a pretty cool idea. But I'm texting so much blabla here and forgetting total to present myself.
So what to say about me.
I'm a 27 year old bavarian girl with celiac (so gluten and me won't get friends anymore in this life) and have studed german law to become a civil servant ( no sure how to explain it better).
Oh i also have to say here that my last english lesson is now 6 years ago, so you maybe wonder the spell, doesn't mind, I'm out of practise.
Hm what to say about my character. My friends and family would discribe me as an shy calm person, but also open-minded, free-spirited, loyal, friendly and sensible....I find it always hard to discribe myself, so sry if its not that precise.
Okay what else? I'm living right now at 3 different places from time to time because of the location of my work, study and family.
First location is in Regensburg, where i work and have a cousy flat near Shopping Centers and by bus 10 till 15 min to city centre and train station. I share my flat with my husband Berni (thats his Profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/bernhard-thoeresz).
Second is home of my granny, she is now nearly 89 and she is for me like a second mum so i live there when i go home on weekenend.
Third is my hometown, where i lived my whole childhood and my parents and some of my siblings still live. I try to see them once a week, normally on sunday.
Oh random fact maybe good to know for being sure i don´t bite, i have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. I'm the seventh child. That means I dont freak out with have much people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

That's a good question! Okay like i said before one point above (good if you haven't slept there yet;)), I'm keen to get in touch with not just attractions of country but culture and people. I had in my teenage time much contact to people around world by writing with penpals and still have contact with some. I always liked the idea of holding something in my hands that went around the world to me and was before in hands of my friend.
Also pretty cool to get to know about every day life and that many clichees arent that true anymore at all.
So also cool to see how daily life is going on in citciens flats.
I hope it doesnt sound to strange
