Overview
About Me
I am working as a travel nurse across Canada and travel in between work placements for a few weeks-months at a time. When I am home I am usually staying with a friend or family member and am home for short periods of time so I am not able to host at this time but am keen to be involved with couch surfing in other ways. I Typically plan things out in advance and am more of the type to live in the moment and see where it takes you! I love travelling and exploring new areas of the world. I am an active person, love sports specifically skiing surfing, rock climbing, biking, hiking, yoga, I also am excited meeting new people and new places. I would say I am spontaneous but reliable.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Heard about couchsurfing from a friend travelling in Malaysia and was highly recommended for meeting locals and making connections in new areas. I was invited to a "couchsurfing" BBQ/ bonfire in Penang where I met couch surfers who took me around the island and showed me areas of the country I probably would not have otherwise seen. Heard many great stories from other travellers using couch surfing :) I used couch surfing a bit when in Asia and Australia, but not since as I have been travelling for work.
Interests
I love travelling and exploring new areas. I am generally more comfortable in smaller towns than cities and love being near the ocean. I have a passion for cooking and trying new foods, I like meeting new people and having good conversation as well, and enjoy reading.
