I turned 50 this year and promised myself I would embrace life...and here I am! I want to experience as much as possible when I can, it has been a dream of mind to travel the world. I am relying on the shared stories and experiences from those I meet on my first journey couch surfing, hopefully this will allow myself to expand my horizons and travel more. My son is 21 and is my favourite person in my world, I want to get him out of this small city and show him opportunities where he can travel and discover life...it all has to start somewhere, maybe this is it?? I hope in this faze of my life I am able to get a chance to experience what I have always dreamed of, my son is young and he can certainly do this easily and I want this for him.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always wanted to just 'go' and not plan trips...and this will be my first trip doing this taking my son. I figure Couch Surfing will provide me the opportunity to meet new and interesting people, learn new things, make connections that will add to the memories we are making. Who knows where it will lead. In my dreams that would be to discover as many places as possible and connect with as many people as possible...there is so much more to life than 9-5!
