Hi! I'm Laura and I'm 24 years old. I'm from the Netherlands, where I'm currently studying medicine. I have also studied International Studies and I love talking about anything culture, politics or philosophy related! I'm now going to my third year of med school, so in case of any injuries I can offer my humble third year's expertise ;) I'm a happy and positive person and I love exchanging ideas and experiences, hence why I'm a huge couch surfing fan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The couchsurfing community is one of the most fun and special communities I've ever been a part of. So far, I've loved hanging out with everyone I've met or hosted in my city or in other cities. I can honestly say that the couchsurfing friends I made are ones made for life, as we share so many values and experiences! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love listening to the Script, Coldplay, Einaudi, Greenday, The Beatles, Martin Garrix and a lot more. My music taste is definitely all over the place.. One of my favorite movies is Avatar, but I also love watching all kinds of documentaries.
I love reading and I don't have a favorite book, since I can't choose! Always happy to give or receive book recommendations!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered at a organization in the Philippines, I helped out at a child daycare and taught older kids English and maths, which made me realize all I wanna do is serve people and live a happy life doing so.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm happy to teach you my language and I will try to brighten your days with my good mood :) If I will stay for a couple of days, I'll also cook for you, I'm a real foodie! I also love long conversations, or just a simple coffee in silence, whatever you prefer!
