I'm a postgrad marine biology student who loves travelling, diving and would like to make the world a little better - openness, the environment, empathy and curiosity are important to me.
I grew up in Berlin, but lived in quite a few places in Germany. For a year I during high school I lived in a tiny town in Minnesota, USA. During my studies I also lived in Australia, but I still havent found a place to call home. But so far I am happy to keep on searching, because I get to travel while doing so.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people while I'm travelling and to learn more about them and their cultures. I enjoy having a laugh with others as well as listening to their stories. To me having a great time can be sharing quiet moments with a great view as well as having lively discussions where one ends up seeing things from completely a different perspective. While travelling I don't just want to see the tourist attractions, but get to know a place with insights from the locals. Because often the more hidden sights turn out to be the most interesting and memorable ones.

Interests

I enjoy diving and climbing and also reading a good book on the beach in a nice park or a hammock. I often cook because it is relaxing to me but I would also love learn how to surf, among many other things.
