About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living every day to the fullest and making new experiences and discoveries every single day!
ABOUT ME (sorry, this is quite old but I don't have the time right now to update everything :) Get to know 20 year old me a bit... :D )
I love to travel, i spend pretty much all my money on it and I love to discover new places and cultures! However, I also love to come back to places that have a special meaning to me - i see it more as a "homecoming".
When I was in High School, i spent a year in the US, in Los Angeles. It was by far one of the greates experiences of my life and I enjoyed every single minute of it! Los Angeles is my favourite city in the whole wide world and I can't wait to go back there!
The advantage of living in Europe is most definitely the fact that you can travel around on a quite reasonable budget. I love France and I've spent quite a few summer vacations there, meeting new people, eating great food and freshening up my language skills.
Travelling is definitely one of my more exciting hobbies... other than that I love to read in my freetime (cheesy love novels or lately even some international politics books), I love spending time with my friends, and if inbetween my studies I still have time for more, i love to scrapbook and be creative.
I'm studying Politics and Economics and university has really enriched my interest in political matters such as the United Nations or the European Union or other international organizations.
Having grown up in a smalltown, i am delighted that my university offers many different clubs and groups for social involvement. Currently I am part of the organization called "Weitblick", that supported child and teen education all over the world and I'm in the fundraising team for the construction of a partner university in Benin, Africa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Last summer I spent an entire month travelling through Italy and it was absolutely amazing!! I met so many new and friendly people who showed me their city from their very own point of view - the favourite places to go, to eat, to hang out! Just not the whole tourist-y stuff but getting to know the "real" country and it's whole beauty! :)
When i was travelling through the US I met some amazing people through Couchsurfing and i am absolutely sure that we will stay friends because we really hit it off from the first moment on.
