About Me
Always on the move!
I am currently based in the Nor Cal, USA, but always looking for adventure. Currently looking forward to some more trips through the Western United States. I have visited 24 US states, and 10 countries.
2017 was a huge travel year for me: I spent 2 months on the road in the US, as well as 1 month backpacking through Central America with my best friend and 1 week skiing in Banff, Canada. I loved the Central America trip the most because we got to spend a good amount of time in the area, practice Spanish, meet amazing locals and fellow travelers, and get a decent understanding of the area! I hope to go back soon, particularly to Guatemala.
Banff was also amazing because I grew up skiing but have not spent much time on the snow in recent years. I explored some accessible back-country and am keen for the winter season to come!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people and getting an understanding of the local area from those who know it best. I have assistant hosted Couchsurfing guests in the past and it was so lovely to share experiences with people! I grew up in a large family and love the excitement of a house full of family, friends, and guests. I have yet to Couchsurf through this site but I am very excited to begin.
Interests
I have been rock climbing for about 2 years and I love it! I spent much of my youth outdoors and this is a natural extension of my love of clambering over rocks and trees.
I started dancing at age 4 and was classically trained in ballet for 14 years before I began university and diversified my dance vocabulary.
