I am an aspiring theatre artist and lover of travel. I truly enjoy going to new places and staying as long as possible! I strive to create lasting friendships and connections wherever I go and am open to any new experience or possibility. I am 100% tourist. I don't think any activity is too kitschy to try at least once, but I also love experiences that take me off the grid. *Disclaimer* All activities will be intensely photographed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because traveling is a richer experience when you're with someone who knows more about a place than you. When I traveled to Belize for the first time I was with a friend who had already been. I traveled to London for the first time this past year and was lucky to be traveling with other theatre artists who could recommend the best shows to go see. I had the wonderful opportunity to create theatre with a friend in New Orleans who had gone to college at Tulane and therefore, knew so much about where we were living. I enjoy exploring on my own, but know that sometimes I can gain more when exploring with an old or new friend.

Interests

My main interests are the arts. Creating theatre is my ultimate interest. I also enjoy in depth conversations about intersectional feminism and LGBTQI rights. I love to draw, color, paint, and craft. I'm also interested in food. It's delicious, most of the time. I love hiking and camping as well and spending quality time with my family, friends, and my dog, Reba.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, but the majority of my music library consists of soundtracks from musicals.

I watch horror movies, often. I also enjoy dark comedies, independent films, science fiction films, period films, and dramas. The occasional silly comedy is also welcome.

The Harry Potter books are my all time favorite books followed by The Lord of the Rings. Comic books are also a big interest of mine. I'm currently reading Saga and Sex Criminals. Sandman is my favorite series followed by the new Ms. Marvel comics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed the High Temple at Lamanai while I was in Belize. It was a huge accomplishment for someone who is somewhat afraid of heights and the view from where I stood at the top was incredible.
