I am originally from England, and I have been living and working in the US since May 2016. I have a huge interest in travel. Since living in America, I've had the opportunity to travel to and explore 17 states (in counting) and also spend time in Canada, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.

I love the CouchSurfing community, and have thoroughly enjoyed all of my experiences as of yet. I find it fascinating to be able to meet and get to know like minded people with good values and similar interests. I have begun to make great connections and friendships, that I hope will continue to grow and that I am able to build upon in the future.

I've been traveling independently for almost 9 years now! I left the UK at the baby age of 17 and have spent the years traveling around the Middle East, Europe and Africa, working many different jobs before moving stateside. I am adventurous, love to live life to the fullest potential and will never say no to a great opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am here for many different reasons. Predominantly to allow me to keep traveling, and to experience destinations like a local. To have a wealth of local knowledge at your fingertips is an extremely important and almost invaluable tool. Hopefully I am able to make some long lasting friendships. Reconnect with past hosts/surfers later in life, to see how we evolve and grow in our separate paths.

I listen to all genres of music. Ed Sheeran is the current and remaining favourite. I managed to get hold of tickets to his sold out 2017 North America tour, which did not disappoint.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being on safari in Zambia was definitely a bucket list moment for me. I stayed in a small hut within the park, and would share the swimming pool with baby elephants, the breakfast table with monkeys and my bedroom with birds. It was better than I ever imagined, and I often find myself reliving the memories of riding jeep back through the African savannah!

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn from people and connect with people who have similar interests to me and who are have a spontaneous streak to them. I hope my future job ventures will include networking with people from all over the world. I probably have some good stories to share and would like to hear yours also. I want to continue to learn new skills, culinary, culture or language based.

What I Can Share with Hosts
