About Me
Hi! I'm Laura, studying in beautiful Freiburg near Black Forest in Germany.
Like most couchsurfers, I love to travel, meet new people, share experiences & get to know different perspectives of the world. I feel most at peace in nature and with people that contain as much zest of life as me.
I´d say of myself that I´m an easy going, open-minded, positive person who likes to meet all kinds of people and I try to be aware of my environment as much as I can. Meditation and living in the present moment is very important to me as well.
I like practicing all kinds of sports like soccer, rowing, skiing, surfing or jumping into lakes, rivers or oceans. Singing, playin the guitar and cooking is something I look forward to do with awesome people as well!! I just started to get into photography, so tips are always welcome!
All in all just enjoying life on our wonderful planet ;)
(I am vaccinated)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because in my opinion meeting locals is the best way to explore a new country or city. You get a genuine glimpse into the culture and see the best hidden places where not a lot of tourists would normally go.

Music, Movies, and Books
I often listen to smaller artists and to genres like Indie and Folk, Techno and Pop are also welcome ;)
The movies I like most are the Greatest Showman and the documentary A Life On Our Planet.
My favourite books are "The power of now" by Eckhart Tolle and I also loved to read the book "Die geilste Lücke im Lebenslauf" which translates to "The greatest gap in my vitae" where Nick Martin starts to travel the world in order to escape his 9 to 5 office job. After 6 years of travelling he started to write this book which includes many ups and downs but most importantly contributed to the mindset I have right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Jumping off waterfalls in asia, Trolltunga hike in Norway, living in New Zealand for 6 months whilst swimming with dolphins & bungee jumping... all equally amazing
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer great conversations, cooking vegetarian meals and having great laughs. I am also always up for adventures like hikes, exploring the area or a night out ;)
