About Me

⚠⚠ As I'm back at my parents' for the summer, I'm not hosting during this time ⚠⚠

I'm studying linguistics as a bachelor degree, so I'm obviously interested in languages and their impact on our lovely world! When I was younger, I discovered that travelling is one of the most amazing thing I can do with my life. I love discovering new countries and meeting people from abroad with whom I can share my experience! I just came back in France from my erasmus year in Tampere, Finland.

I consider myself lucky for what I've already done during my first 20 years on this planet. I am usually seen as a cheerful person with a big smile. I think it's only because I always try to see the positive perspective of a situation.

I might think I'm a bit shy sometimes while others think I'm not. The fact is that I love talking, and I talk a lot when I'm passionate about a topic! But I also enjoy listening to others and what they can teach me ; sometimes I'm just impressed by all this knowledge and that's when I can be "shy", or simply quiet. However I enjoy small talks as much as long late night conversations!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's only the beginning but I think Couchsurfing is a simple way to meet people from the places I'm visiting and it seems to be a amazing experience!

Interests

I found out I can actually make pretty good food without following a recipe, it's all about trying !
Since I've been to Finland I became more interested in nature activities such as hiking, canoeing, skating...

  • cooking
  • reading
  • traveling
  • outdoor activities

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste is really wide, from the 70s to the 2010s!
My childhood was also based on Harry Potter and I'm still a big fan.
I can't find any favourite book but whenever I go abroad I'm always carrying a book whose the author's nationality is from the country I'm visiting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Näsijärvi is the biggest lake in Tampere and also my favourite because I spent the best moments there. I swam IN it and ice skated ON it. Simple but great experience! The most amazing thing remains seeing Northern lights over this same lake...

Teach, Learn, Share

I have many stories about my trips that I can share. I also love discussing about languages as I'm a linguistic student. I'm clearly not a chef but I can make good "experimental" food !
I enjoy talks about culture, beliefs and one's passions!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, good laugh, my big smile, teaching the basics of French: Fromage, baguette...

Argentina, Australia, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Åland Islands
