I grew up in Austin, TX. although my family also spent 2 years in Heidelberg, Germany. My perfect day would involve napping, being outdoors, and good food that I don't have to cook.

On past trips I've stayed with friends of friends, people I'd never met, and always enjoyed meeting new people and getting their perspectives on the places I was visiting. Couchsurfing feels like an extension of that to me.

I've couchsurfed once before and had a really good experience. Staying with a host gave the trip a different perspective.
