Mi nombre es Laura. Nací y crecí en una de las ciudades más grandes del mundo, la Ciudad de México (o Chilangolandia, como le decimos de cariño por acá). Soy una chica tranquila pero aventurera, un poco geek y con un sentido del humor medio bobo. Me encanta caminar, leer, ver películas, reír, disfrutar de una buena comida y beber café a cualquier hora del día. Adoro a los animales, especialmente a los perros.

Lo abrí hace varios años, pero no lo había usado. Como varios amigos me lo han recomendado mucho, decidí hacer la prueba en mi próximo viaje a Buenos Aires. Creo que puede ser una excelente forma de conocer los sitios que uno visita desde una perspectiva más local y hasta una oportunidad para hacer nuevos amigos.

Music, Movies, and Books

"¡Adiós a Lenin!" es de mis películas favoritas, pero como todo el mundo, tengo varias.
De música, estoy dispuesta a escuchar de todo, pero el género que más me gusta es rock, indie y alternativa en sus múltiples variedades. Entre mis bandas favoritas están Interpol, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppellin, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, y The Beatles.
Me gusta leer de todo, pero lo que más disfruto son novelas. Actualmente estoy leyendo Los Mandarines de Simone de Beauvoir.

"Good-bye Lenin!" is one of my favourite films though, like most people, I have many more.
In terms of music, I am willing to listen to all kinds and genres, I am no connoisseuse. The genre that I enjoy the most is rock/indie in its multiple varieties. My favourite bands are Interpol, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppellin, Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes, and The Beatles.
I enjoy reading novels, but my taste goes beyond that. I am currently reading The Mandarins by Simone de Beauvoir.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Viví y trabajé en Seúl, Corea del Sur por más de un año. Fue una experiencia maravillosa en la que pude hacer amigos increíbles y comenzar a apasionarme por viajar. Antes de regresar a México, me fui de mochila a Tailandia, Laos y Vietnam; las aventuras que viví ahí ahora son recuerdos preciosos.

I lived and worked in Seoul, South Korea for over a year. It was an amazing experience, I got to make incredible friends and to get really excited about travelling. Before returning to Mexico, I backpacked across Thailand, Laos and Vietnam, the memories I made during this trip are really precious to me.
