Overview
About Me
I am a young 59. I am currently taking a break after working too much for too many years, and am eager to explore and get to know people around the world.
I love the outdoors, hiking and climbing in particular. I am flexible, curious, and have a good sense of humor.
As a guest, I will want to help out and be respectful of your space. I will also be curious to learn about you and your local community!

Music, Movies, and Books
Ooh, good question. If there were one movie I could watch over and over, it would be The Princess Bride, but I like just about anything that makes me think or makes me laugh, or makes me cry (I don't do scary movies!)
Books - I enjoy both fiction and nonfiction. I recently enjoyed Last Night in Montreal, and The Little Prince is one of my favorite books for grown ups who need to remember to be kids!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm not sure it's amazing, but one of the things I'm most proud of is having raised my son as a single parent. He's a wonderful 21 year old!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to learn about your language and culture and community. I enjoy cooking together, and would love for you to share your favorite hikes/climbs with me.
