About Me

I feel in love with the idea of traveling when I was just a kid. As soon as my feet left American soil 5 years ago, I haven't looked back. I work to live, and live to travel :) I'm lucky enough to have an amazing partner who I met in Palma de Mallorca and shares all the same passions and interests as me. We've traveled a lot together and look forward to seeing another side of the world this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always seek the cultural experience when it comes to traveling. In the past, my travels were much more fulfilling by getting to know locals, and/or expats that lives there year round. Traveling is about seeing the world and meeting like-minded people.

Interests

Writing children's books, photography, music, camping, exploring, rock climbing, self-sustainable living, sailing, spontaneity.... and all the other amazing things travel has to offer. My goal this year is to learn to surf >:)

Music, Movies, and Books

Anything you can dance too when it comes to music. I absolutely need to dance! I love to read and write and also like movies. I much prefer outdoors though :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in a tree house in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, for three months. I was living with lions, elephants, leopards, even a hippo! It was a challenging time, but one of the most incredible eco-systems in the world. What and experience!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always happy to teach someone English, or simply help them practice. I love learning and am really interested in self sustainable living. I would love to do some volunteer work for accommodation and food, as well as for the habitat and or residents. Really anything I can do to do my part in another country makes me happy. Sharing is caring, so what I have is yours. We can only keep what we have by giving it to others :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully I can share some inspiration and experience... I'm an all around enthusiastic person with a lot of energy. I've also been known to be pretty good at doing dishes :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bermuda, Botswana, England, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Mozambique, Portugal, South Africa, Spain, Swaziland, Turkey, Wales
