About Me
Hi, I’m Laura. I’m from Brasil and currently spending one year in Torino, Italy. It’s my first time in Europe so I intend to travel and visit as many places I can, to enjoy my time here as much as I can :)
I study Civil Engineering and I’m doing a double major in architecture, both of the courses being my greatest passions - and being in Europe and surrounded by this amazing buildings is a dream come true.
I’m friendly and love to talk and learn new languages! I currently speak fluently portuguese and english, and I’m also learning italian and know a little bit about spanish!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that Couchsurfing was a great invention for low cost travelers - a way to connect and bring people together, who usually have the same interests (travelling for the most part hahah) without any greater cost.
Interests
I love yoga and almost any form of exercise. The activity that most fulfills me is hiking - I love the views and the feeling that I’m a tiny tiny human being in an amazing universe.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a very eclectic taste in music, but my greatest passion is still brazilian music. I simply love MPB and samba :) I like to dance also (a lot), and I dance to whatever is playing hahah
About movies, i admit that my guilty pleasure are romantic comedies, but I also love movies from Tarantino and Nolan. My favourite movie of all times is Forest Gump ♡
I love reading about everything I can, currently I’m reading Walden, from Thoreau, and loving it :)
