Considero que soy una persona en construcción, que cada día cambio un poco y esos cambios son una oportunidad para aprender algo nuevo, sobre ciencia, sobre arte, sobre la vida, etc. Disfruto las conversaciones de casi todo tipo, mientras más variadas y aleatorias mejor para mí, creo que cualquier tema puede ser interesante si se hacen buenas pregunta, eso sí, no me gustan las personas que quieren imponer su opinión sin escuchar de razones. No tengo prejuicios y respeto profundamente todo tipo creencias. ES ➡ Creo que la hospitalidad es de los valores más preciados que existen y que no hay mejor forma para conocer un lugar nuevo que con personas locales. Me encantaría aprender sobre las costumbres de una cultura nueva para mí de la mano de alguien que la conoce bien porque la lleva consigo. También me gustaría compartir mi cultura con las personas que estén interesadas en ella, Colombia es un lugar maravilloso y estoy dispuesta a responder todas las preguntas que puedan surgir y de pasó quitar sesgos que tristemente muchas personas tienen sobre nuestro país 🟡🔵🔴

Music, Movies, and Books

ES ➡ No tengo un género favorita de música, realmente disfruto de casi todo tipo de música, descubrir nuevas canciones y álbumes es de mis hobbies favoritos. Otra cosa que me gusta muchísimo es escuchar podcast, escucho mínimo un episodio de cualquier cosa a diario.
Respecto a las películas, mi género favorito es el thriller y el drama, me encantan las películas que me dejen pensando "¿Qué acabo de ver?", de esas que hay que ver dos veces para entender. Me pasa lo mismo con las series, aunque también disfruto de una buena comedia.
En cuanto a los libros, me gusta leer sobre aventuras y reportajes, por ejemplo "Relato de un naúfrago" de G. G. Márquez. Aunque parezca aburrido, también me gusta leer artículos científicos, después de todo soy geóloga y me intereza mucho la investigación

EN ➡ I don't have a favorite genre of music, I really enjoy almost all kinds of music, discovering new songs and albums is one of my favorite hobbies. Another thing I really enjoy is listening to podcasts, I listen to at least one episode of anything every day.
Regarding movies, my favorite genre is thriller and drama, I love movies that leave me thinking “What did I just see?”, the kind you have to watch twice to understand. The same thing happens to me with series, although I also enjoy a good comedy.
As for books, I like to read about adventures and reports, for example “Relato de un naúfrago” by G. G. Márquez. Although it may seem boring, I also like to read scientific articles, after all, I am a geologist and I am very interested in research.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

ES ➡ He conocido lugares de Colombia muy reconditos y de una belleza increíble gracias a la geología. También estuve tomando clases de acrobacia por unos 5 años, de hecho estaba aprendiendo un poco sobre contorsión, aunque me entristece no tener tanto tiempo como me gustaría para dedicarle a la acrobacia. Me encantan los gatos, en el 2023 rescaté a dos gatas embarazadas que estaban en malas condiciones, junto a mi pareja las cuidamos durante el parto y la lactancia, al final terminamos con 7 gatitos bebés y 2 madres a quienes pudimos conseguirles un buen hogar; esa experiencia de cuidado, dedicación y amor me marcó profundamente.

EN ➡ I have seen places in Colombia that are very remote and incredibly beautiful thanks to geology. I was also taking acrobatics classes for about 5 years, in fact I was learning a little bit about contortion, although it saddens me that I don't have as much time as I would like to dedicate to acrobatics. I love cats, in 2023 I rescued two pregnant cats that were in bad conditions, together with my couple we took care of them during labor and lactation, in the end we ended up with 7 baby kittens and 2 mothers who we were able to get them a good home; that experience of care, dedication and love touched me deeply.

ES ➡ Creo que cada tema es una oportunidad para hablar y aprender, tengo el corazón y la mente abierta a nuevas experiencias y conversaciones que me puedan cultivar como persona. En cuanto a lo que puedo aportar, puedo enseñar un poquito de español. Como lo mencione antes, estoy dispuesta a compartir la maravillosa cultura colombiana. ES ➡ Puedo ofrecer una buena conversación, estoy abierta a debatir sobre cualquier tema y ofrecer mi punto de vista, siempre desde el respeto y la empatía. No soy la mejor cocinera, pero sí soy una excelente asistente y si existe la posibilidad de cocinar juntos, estaría genial. Soy muy aseada y si necesitas ayuda para limpiar el lugar, no tengo ningún problema en ayudarte. Soy muy respetuosa con los horarios de trabajo y de descanso de las personas, es lo mínimo que puedo hacer. Por último me gustaría mencionar que quedo infinitamente agradecida con las personas que decidan compartir su hogar y tiempo conmigo durante mi estadia :)

EN ➡ I can offer a good conversation, I am open to debate on any topic and offer my point of view, always from respect and empathy. I am not the best cook, but I am an excellent assistant and if there is a possibility to cook together, it would be great. I am very neat and if you need help cleaning the place, I have no problem helping you. I am very respectful of people's work and rest schedules, it's the least I can do. Finally I would like to mention that I am infinitely grateful to the people who decide to share their home and time with me during my stay :)
