Overview
About Me
I'm Laura and I'm in awe of the beauty that can be found in the world around me.
I grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains (just West of Sydney) and I love sharing the beauty of my hometown - or around Sydney Harbour, where I now live - a good coffee, freshly baked foods, wine or a bushwalk with anyone who visits.
I absolutely love meeting people from different countries and cultures and learning from them. I also enjoy the rich experience of travelling to new and unexpected places!
My ideal way to see a new place is through its art, culture, architecture, food and coffee. I love sitting in cafes and chatting to locals to find out the best secret places to visit and what they love about their town. It often is the people that make a place valuable and I'm excited for the new experiences and friendships that my travels create.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, getting to know them and getting a look into their world.
I met up with some amazing people through couch surfing in my last trip to Europe and would love to return the experience now that I'm home and living in Sydney.

Teach, Learn, Share
My knowledge is yours but I’m keen to learn from you!
I'd love to learn how to cook foods from different cultures, learn some of the local language and the history and politics of the area. In return I can offer some great Australian experiences and show you the best places to visit in Sydney, depending on what you like!
What I Can Share with Hosts
My fun, caring, open attitude. I'm also more than happy to help around the house with either meal prep, housework or garden work. I pride myself on being hardworking and adaptable, so I'll be more than happy to offer a hand in whatever you need.I can share my culture, experiences, and a pretty solid cooking ability as well as my passion for baking and photography!
