A scientist who loves travelling the world. Love meeting new people, trying new foods and drinks and having new experiences. Outgoing and adventurous. Known as always being happy.

In 2015 I back packed around Europe for a couple of months and was recommended couchsurfing. My trip started in Czech Republic with a one way ticket and headed to the Balkans and back up through Western Europe. Visited 11 countries and ~25 cities. Hitting my goal of 30 countries before 30 years old. Met amazing people along the way, lots of adventures and stories.

During my PhD I got to live in Japan and Finland. This increased my wanderlust and my appreciation for new cultures, foods and people.

When I was a teenager I was on the national team for my sport, and national champion. During the time I got to compete in several international competitions and the Europeans (placing 12th).

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people, learn about their cities and countries.

Interests

Travel, cycling, caving, hiking, chess, yoga, science, cooking, gliding, mixed martial arts, freestyle wrestling. An adventurous person who will try any sport once. Meeting new people is always a pleasure, everybody has a story.

Climbed Mount Fuji at night time to see the sunrise. Truly magical.

I can teach you to bake cupcakes, exchange stories or have a beer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Polite, friendly and clean. Lots of stories to tell and a good listener too. Can be left to my own devices or explore the city with you. I love exploring new places and getting to know people. We can cook together or go to a local restaurant. Trying local foods is a big interest of mine or trying something unusual. Although, I will never try andouillette again.

Will bring a bottle of wine or chocolates.
