Overview
About Me
Please note - I am an experienced couchsurfer however sadly few of my hosts or surfers have provided me with references yet! I am happy to exchange other details (facebook etc) with anyone who feels uncomfortable. Promise I am real!!
Spent the past two summers (plus every available holiday) exploring the world with CS and I couldn't have loved it more. I tend to travel alone, and CS hosts have kept me company and showed me the sights all over the world.
I work in apps development, and fortunately my company has an unlimited holiday / work remotely policy. My partner works there too, so we try and get away as often as we can. He likes to camp, but I'm eager to introduce him to couch surfing.
We're liberal, open and honest people (not a euphemism for swingers or naturists) with a love of plants and spicy food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had positive experiences previously couch surfing and enjoy the exchange of knowledge, food and company that takes place. I believe places are better experienced in the company of good hosts than alone. Couch surfers / hosts are in my experience good people, and I can't get enough of the warm fuzzy vibes they give off. You get back what you put in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Moved to Amsterdam with only a backpack
- Started my own online company
- Swam naked under the stars in the Baltic Sea
- Stumbled upon a street rave in a backstreet in Venice
- Crashed a university ski trip in Les Arcs
- Ridden horseback down the side of a mountain (and not died) in Crete
- Showed my arse off to Michael McIntyre (accidentally) in Nice

- Last minute festival in Paris with strangers
- Got drunk at a film premiere (his own) with Richard Armitage
Teach, Learn, Share
I have many travelling stories, and I invite you to laugh at all of them. Forever making an arse of myself. Enjoyable British accent (so I'm told).
Can teach recipes, some conversational Dutch, and tons of drinking games.
I'm a pretty good cook (although I eat vegetarian, I'll cook meat for guests) - my specialities are brunch and spicy Asian dishes.
