I grew up in the perfect little beach town in Australia but moved to my countries capital to study engineering. Currently I am doing an exchange semester in Munich and doing my best not to despair at how difficult it is to find a good coffee. On the weekends (and let's be real, during the week) I am cramming in as much travel as I possibly can in a foolhardy attempt to get a small glimpse of everything Europe has to offer.

Travelling to me is just as much about meeting people as it is seeing a places top sights. Without talking to locals, you can never fully appreciate the importance of a place and all of it's little quirks. Couchsurfing is the perfect place to meet like minded people, get good travel tips and exchange knowledge about food.

A 17 day hike in Borneo where I stomped up and down hills, bathed only in creeks and learnt all about the local ghost stories until I couldn't sleep at night.
