About Me

Hi there, I'm Laura!!! I'm from Italy but I currently live in Toulouse, France, for my 2nd Master degree in International Economic Affairs.
I've been living in Italy for most of my life, then France for 3 years, UK for 6 months and Spain for about 8 months. I've always loved living in different cities and countries in order to better understand their cultures and habits.
I'm a really positive and energetic person and I always try to look on the bright side in any situation. I am calm and hyperactive at the same time, a bit weird and pretty curious when it comes to new things and places.
I've got my tickets to come to Australia for 3 weeks for the first time and I can't wait to do it and meet some incredible people from all around the world!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As long as I can remember I've always loved traveling and meeting new people. When you start growing up sometimes you thing about having your own "circle of friends" you'll be staying with forever. I've chosen my way to do it by making that circle bigger and bigger with people I can trust and I can share something new with.
Couchsurfing is the perfect way to trust people and share what really matters: love, culture, discovery, happiness. It’s the perfect way to see a country, see how the people live, and experience life there through their eyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last September I went skydiving in Empuriabrava, Spain, and it was for sure one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Once you're up in the air, you cannot think about anything, you just feel the moment and realize that you're flying. You're not even scared about it, cause even if you forget to wear your parachute there's nothing left you can do, so just try to relax and live the moment ;P
I truly believe it won't be the last time I do it ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're open to show me around, some hidden places a tourist will never know and how's a local's life...well, you're the perfect host for me ;) I've been sharing flats for a while and the most amazing thing about it is to enjoy your time with them to better know each other. Any suggestions about trips and places to see are very welcome (also if you want to join I would be happy) !!!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'll be happy to teach you some Italian and how to make Italian, French and Spanish dishes. I'll share my "do it yourself" creative skills and my positivity.
