Language lover who comes from a tiny country in Europe - Latvia. I am adventurous, I enjoy exploring new places, walking around the city and looking in it's darkest corners and narrowest streets. When I do that I usually take my camera with me and try to capture the most interesting and beautiful moments. I am not afraid of meeting new people although I may seem a bit shy at first.
I'm a student of French philology but I also take English and German classes. I'm all about them languages - my goal is to speak fluent/read/write in at least three foreign languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Used couchsurfing to find a place to live in Denmark (2012) and Germany, Freiburg (2015). Also had a nice experience in France (summer 2016).

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock, grunge, indie, choir music, pop, ambient, dance music... see, I can listen to mostly every kind of music as long as it has decent lyrics and great rythm.
Movies: I love movies like Fight Club, Shutter Island, Memento,The Butterfly Effect, Vanilla Sky etc- movies with that magical mind*uck moment. I also enjoy romantic movies like My Blueberry Nights, One Day, Crazy,Stupid,Love, The Perks of Being a Wildflower etc. And sometimes I like to watch some comedies especialy The Hangover. Big fan of The Lord of the Rings. The only genre I don't like that much is action/thriller and stuff with lots of cars/fighting/bombing.
Books: mostly Latvian authors. Foreign writers - Alessandro Baricco, Tove Jansson, Albert Camus and others.
