ABOUT ME

i'm a 28 year old with a passion for travelling, meeting new people and cultures. I've done some longterm travelling in the past and I just love it! But I enjoy travelling for shorter periods and meeting people just as well.

I'm a very social and caring person. I have loads of interests and I'm allways up for new things.
I love dancing: I practice salsa and tango, but most kinds of music make my feet move.

I like being outside. Just discovering a city by walking it, and getting lost every once and a while is just as much as fun.

I'm an optimist with a good sense of humor and flexibility.

PHILOSOPHY

Life cannot be planned. We should enjoy every moment we have and accept that life involves choices. Try something that scares you every once and a while. It usualy is only half as bad as you imagened it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFINg

I allways love to meet up with travellers in Ghent to show them around or simply have a drink. It has a great vibe.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in London, which I absolutely loved. I met some great people. I figured out you're never really alone while couchsurfing.
Beside that I've slept with friends I met while travelling, and some friends have slept at my place while visiting Belgium.I really enjoyed both!

Homestay in the rainforest in Guatemala, visiting Palenque ruins in the morning mist, scheltering from the rain in an old electricity compound and meeting an entire family in Burma, learning to dive, meeting up with friends in Belgium, biking the hour to my work and enjoying the nature..
