I've had excellent experiences when meeting new people and exploring many places 'as a local' - and for that reason I thought I would try Couch Surfing. So far, so good!

Centres d'intérêt

I'm particularly passionate about the arts and culture, especially fine art, art history and food. I am also incredibly interested in traveling and learning about different cultures, histories and languages.

It is also no secret that I love kids! I've worked with children from a few weeks old through to mid teens in both official and volunteer capacities. I've done everything from teaching English and babysitting, to running arts activities at work and being a leader at a camp with over 100 children.

Can I make it an entire trip? Indonesia 2014 - Trekking with orangutans in the jungle in Sumatra, washing (and being washed by) elephants at Tangkahan, searching for graffiti in Jogjakarta, diving with sharks off the Gili Islands, watching the sun rise over Mt Bromo and scaling one of the live volcanoes next to it, soaking up the history in Aceh, letting a bird eating spider crawl all over my face in Ubud...
