Overview
About Me
I recently resigned from my position as a Program Coordinator for roughly 330 volunteers at an Aquarium in Hawaii. I graduated from Hawaii Pacific University and couldn't bare to leave the turquoise waters behind after graduation, but after a few years of work and no travel, I resigned to travel and start a travel blog. Thus far I have traveled to 14 countries (mostly while getting my degree in International Studies).
I'm originally from outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home of the Philly cheese steak sandwich and liberty bell. My father was military and from a young age I fell in love with the idea of travel and exploring.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I started using Airbnb about a year ago and found that staying at someones house and interacting for and getting to know people had become the highlight of my trips. So I am on Couchsurfing, because it makes travel even more of worth while experience. I think it would be an incredible experience to host in the future, but I currently do not own an apartment.
I've never had the chance to couch surf, and I think it's about time I become apart of this incredible network of people.
