I love chasing new experiences. I discovered a love of traveling after being an exchange student in Oslo, Norway for a year. I am very good at not being good at things, but I think my enthusiasm for learning makes up for it. I try my best to be open and kind. Committed to progressive politics in the long term. There have been periods of my life when I have felt more vocal about my political views than I do now, but I will always try to live up to my ideals about a more just society.

Adventures in the past year of my life:
graduated college!
worked a job where I got to live in a tent for 5 months.
drove alone across the country from Vermont to California.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new friends and learn from them. One day if I actually live in a place for more than a year, I'd like to host surfers as well and explore the world from my own couch.

Interests

I love to hike and camp. I also enjoy cooking, especially with friends. I think sharing a meal with someone is the best way to build community. After a year of living in Norway, I've picked up knitting and like to make my friends things to stay warm.
