Overview
About Me
Hi! I'm Laura but my friends call me La or Lauri, I'm 24 years old and I am a speech therapist. I studied in Ferrara, an interesting city in the north of Italy and I lived there for 3 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a traveller and many friends have used Couchsurfing so I tried it and it's awesome! I love traveling because it gives me the opportunity to know new people and cultures and to share mine: Couchsurfing is the best way to do it!
Interests
I love cooking especially cakes and bolognaise traditional dishes like tortellini, pasta al ragù, lasagne and much more! My italian grandmother is the typical "nonna bolognese" and she taught me how to cook properly, my other grandmother is bulgarian and thanks to her I know how to cook Musakà, a traditional bulgarian and greek dish.
My biggest hobby is photography. I started when I was a child with my father's analog camera and when I grew up I started to take courses: I did my first one at Photo Image, a very renowned school in Bologna and than I did some interesting workshops.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen different genres of music: when I was younger I listened only rock and metal music but now I like also electronic and italian music. My favorites artists are: Moderat, Moby and many others.
I watch all types of films: from horror films to drama films. A film that I saw recently and I was very impressed by is "Call me by your name" by an italian director called Guadagnino.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did this amazing and crazy trip in Myanmar two years ago and I lived with locals and their families. Everything was amazing: people, cities, food, nature! From that moment I decided to make only backpacker travel and to know local culture as much as I can.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to teach how to cook because I love cooking especially cakes and bolognaise traditional dishes like tortellini, pasta al ragù, lasagne and much more! My italian grandmother is the typical "nonna bolognese" and she taught me how to cook properly, my other grandmother is bulgarian and thanks to her I know how to cook Musakà, a traditional bulgarian and greek dish. Both my grandmothers taught me to love Italian and bulgarian culture through food so I would be happy to share my passion and learn others one.
