I am an American with a passion for writing and reading. I currently work as an Editorial Assistant at St. Martin's Press. I am also a classical musician—flute is my principal instrument.

Books: Anything written by Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, or Barbara Kingsolver; Extremely Loud And Incredibly Close; The Sound and The Fury; Harry Potter (of course), The Great Gatsby, A Moveable Feast. I read anything that has amazing characters and makes me learn something.

Music: Florence and the Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Imogen Heap, Jack Johnson, Hillsong United, Passion, Young the Giant, Lana Del Rey, Mumford and Sons, Louise Attaque, musical soundtracks
