About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience new places through other peoples' couches--they are welcome on mine too.

ABOUT ME

I'm a documentary filmmaker living in Atlanta, Georgia. I own a small production company and work from home so my schedule is generally pretty flexible and allows me to fit in plenty of adventure fun times.

I love Atlanta and I think you will too. This place is great because it's got all of the fun city stuff (art/music scene, bars, tons of people) but it also has it's fair share of outdoor options. I don't have a car so I enjoy biking around the city, especially when it's empty at night.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in progress through collaboration. There's a lot I have to learn and my favorite way of acquiring new information is through exchanging with new people. So far, I've found that traveling on a budget is the most exciting way to do so!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both host and surf. You're welcome to crash here for a night or two so long as you don't mind sleeping on a pullout in the living room, or the fact that I have a pet rat.

Couchsurfing is always my first resort when I'm in a new city. I really think it's the best/most fun way to get to know a new place.

Interests

picnics, reading, traveling, riding my bike around the city, having a few drinks, camping, making stuff (movies, ceramics, leather crafts), floating in the ocean, hanging out with friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessing the Great Migration in the Serengeti, probably the coolest thing I've ever seen. OH and white water rafting! I definitely want to do that again.

Teach, Learn, Share

"Hi ni nini?" means "what is this?" in Swahili, sounds kind of funny when you say it fast.
