About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Still working on that one, but enjoying not knowing... seeking adventure.
ABOUT ME
I like to talk, to anybody, and I do so more animatedly if there's a glass of wine involved, but please be prepared for a healthy level of sarcasm. I mock because I care.
In between talking I do also listen, alternatively, hand me a book of any kind and I'll be quiet until it's finished, which won't be very long. I am a fairly average cook, but I make incredible desserts, if you're lucky I'll make you my famed banoffee pie, recently introduced to Canada and taking the country by storm. I also play a mean game of articulate.
I spent the year before last living and working in Quebec, Canada - attempting to control, and supposedly teaching English to, small, wild children. In reality, I spent all my weekends wandering that edge of Canada and the US, cramming my time full with all the destinations and experiences I could manage and meeting new people along the way. I then went back to uni, finished my degree and now find myself here.
I'd love to meet you.
Interests
I like...meeting new people, challenging myself, drinking tea with not-new people, discovering new places, being outdoors, learning languages, my sewing machine, red wine, a great night out, sitting with my sketchbook, pub quizzes, good conversation, singing and acting, people watching, doing the crossword, dancing with abandon, spending too much money on films and books, talking too much, laughing exactly the right amount...and drinking tea. I drink A LOT of tea.
