Hi there! My name is Laura. I am from America and enjoy traveling and meeting new friends on the journey. I am currently on a working holiday in Australia, where I studied for a semester in uni. I am always dreaming of future travels. I'm into hoop dancing, music, yoga, nature, swimming, and animals. I have a passion for the environment, art, photography and design. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about Couch Surfing from my friend Oded, who had some great experiences and met some cool people. I couch surf wherever I can and use the website to meet locals & travelers.
I couch surfed in Bali, Indonesia and I had the most amazing time ever. It was a spectacular trip because my friend showed me all around the island and we reunited 4 years later. I will never forget when we saw the starry night from the top of the volcano Mount Batur, the entire milky way pouring over the sky and several shooting stars winking at us. Which is why I love couchsurfing, the opportunity for awesome times, cultural exchange and making life-long friends.

Interests

I spend my time practicing yoga, hoop dancing, drinking coffee or having a cup of tea to relax. I'm really into meditation practice as well. I like animals and being outside in nice weather as much as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my favorite vegetarian foods, yoga and relaxation techniques. I'm a great listener and love learning about what makes people inspired. Wanting to see the world is in my blood. My parents met when my father was traveling in the 80's in China and my mother was his tour guide! I grew up looking at my father's candid photographs of people's lives in thailand, indonesia and china. It always made me curious and keen to experience how others live.
