About Me
(FYI I only accept guests with at least 3 references or more. This is to ensure my own safety. Don't take it personally. I won't reply if you have no references.)
I'm a pretty open minded human who loves meeting new humans of different cultures.
I am most content when I am outdoors in nature or when I am fully absorbed in a creative pursuit such as painting.
I am self employed and I run a business that delivers environmental education activities in schools. I also work as a visual artist in mediums such as body painting, murals, and sculpture. I enjoy getting other people involved with my art projects 😊
I enjoy spending time with creative, artistic, passionate and thoughtful people.
I am keen to get back into couch surfing. I met some wonderful people through couch surfing when I was last in Europe in 2018. And some of these friends have come to visit me in Australia. I've hosted some lovely people at my place.
One of fondness travel experience so far was the time I spent travelling through Southern Africa a few years ago. The wildlife in Botswana was incredible! So many elephants and hippos!
I'm interested in alternative community living and eco houses. I can tell you some funny tales of when I lived in a squat house in Australia for 6 months :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am eager to meet new friends from all around the world and offer them a home for a while
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Ive hosted some great people at my place. I have couch surfed at a college in Malaysia and I stayed with a kind man in Austria who has become a dear friend.
However, I did have one pretty sketchy encounter with a couch surfer when I was in Florence, Italy which was unfortunate. Hence, I only consider staying with people who have plenty of references from people who have stayed at their place and not just from friends!
