I just graduated in sports management and want to take the time after university to travel and see different parts of the world. Last year I backpacked the US on my own for three months and had my first couchsurfing experiences there. Now I want to explore more of Europe with an Interrail ticket for two months. My friend Marie (26, social education worker) will join me for the trip and we will start in Scandinavia before we move on to South Europe. We hope to get to do a few hikes to see some beautiful nature but also explore some cities. When we're not being active outside we also love to just relax on the beach or in a park.

Fun facts about us:
I am into sports like basketball, longboarding, hiking and in summer kayaking, I'm obsessed with dogs and get easily distracted by them, I'm into photography and try to take travel/nature photos myself and I'm a vegetarian with an urge to want to make the world a better place.
Marie likes to go on hikes, bike tours and inline skating, she's obsessed with cats, gummy bears and watermelon and she likes to have deep conversations and learn about the deep stuff that makes a person unique.

We are both calm, easy going and open minded people who are excited to meet new people and learn about new cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and getting to know new people from all over the world and learn about other cultures. Staying with locals gives you the opportunity to learn more about the places and where to go which you would not know about otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I mostly listen to indie, alternative, rock and basic pop music but I'm open for other things too. Some of my favorite artists are The 1975, Fletcher, Hayley Kiyoko, Troye Sivan, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift.

Movies: mostly comedy, action or Disney and Marvel movies. Anything that is not horror.

Books: I enjoy reading thrillers and recently have gotten more into books about life (like Mark Mansons The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived in the US (near NYC) for 1 1/2 years as an AuPair and travelled a lot on my own during that time. I did a few short trips to cities like Chicago or joined different road trips on the west coast and explored different national parks. My favourite part was exploring the beautiful nature and beaches in Hawaii.
