About Me

Like everyone here I love travelling and learning about life from all kinds of people. I'm passionate about Music, Volleyball and my agricultural studies and want to contribute to creating a more sustainable world. Currently I finished my Bachelors in Munich and starting a Masters degree in Wageningen, Netherlands in February. Until then I will be volunteering for the climate conference in Bonn (for which I'm still looking for a host) and travel a little more while working on organic farms

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a couple of times in India, Turkey and the Netherlands and hosted some people in my parents house. I can't wait to offer my place more often to travellers when I'll move to another city to finish my Masters degree in February.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I learned about couchsurfing, when I ended up staying with an awesome guy in India by chance. He was a young guy, who owned an incredible old Hotel, and offered the rooms through couchsurfing. he told us, when the big festival in his city was taking place, he hosts up to 20 people. I didn´t trust it first, why should someone own a hotel, and then leave the rooms for free, but still went with the guy who told me he would go there and I could join. The host ended up being an incedible funny and open minded person who new a lot about the world, just by always hosting young people from everywhere. He didn´t really need to work, so that was what he spent his time one. It was just such an familiar atmosphere and I really enjoyed cooking with all his indian friends and the couchsurfers..so I thought there might be some more good people waiting out there :)
