About Me
I am never sure what to write about my self. I guess I am quite open minded and like to get to know as much as possible. I just finished my studies and started to work.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have much experience in couchsurfing yet, but I hope it will change really soon. The few couchsurfers that stayed at my flat but with my roommates were really nice though, so I am looking forward to meeting more couchsurfers!
Interests
Well one could say I am interested in everything that I can possibly take in. My main interest lay in travelling, societies and cultures, food, music, nature and well - a lot more :)
- literature
- music
- eating
- anarchism
- strolling
Music, Movies, and Books
There is so much music that I love, I couldn't possibly list it and I have no favorites. I prefer a good book over a movie and I am proud to say that I have overcome my addiction to TV series. My favorite writers are Hermann Hesse and Oscar Wilde.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So this one time I was on a beach on the island of Martinique with my friend Eva. We were brought to the beach by some friend of my grandfather who wanted to visit people nearby. It was super hot and we forgot to put sunscreen when we got out of the water. We couldn't find the collective taxis (like a mini bus or so) and decided to walk to the next city which wasn't that far in our memory (it turned out to be 20 km or so). We walked next to a street with 70 km/h. We wore flipflops. The small line of high grass next to the street seemed quite scary with the possibility of snakes hangig around there. After 3 km or so we realised we forgot the sunscreen. We had no water left and it was absolutely in the middle nowhere. We tried hitchhiking for 30 min, but the cars where way to fast. We had no cell reception either. Then we saw a bus station. Sadly it seemed no bus had stopped there for some years. Suddenly a completely rusty pickup drove by, they where super slow because of the car being so old and rusty. They took us on the loading area and brought us to the next city from where we had a series of lucky last buses and a father picking up his son from school who brought us home bit by bit.
