Hallo everyone!

My name is Laura, I’m German and Italian!
I'm born in Wolfsburg, my family still lives there, and I visit them once a year, when I’m not busy traveling.
I've been traveling since 2007 and I'm still going on, and my dream is to open a happy place where people leave happier than they arrived.

What am I doing at the moment?

I'm traveling with my boyfriend through Asia for one year.... currently in Nepal.

Why am I travelling?

Ever since I can remember it has always been my dream to see the world, and meet new people and learn about different cultures.
I’ve been travelling my whole life. When I was a child my parents took me and my brother around in Europe. And when I was 7 years old I visited my uncle by myself in Barcelona. My family background is very multi-culture. My dad is Italian and my grandparents live in Sardinia. I have relatives from France/Morocco, Brazil/Spain, and some others who just live all over the world. For me it was just a matter of a course that I flew on my own to Beijing with only 17. I loved travelling around the globe to visit them.

And I'm still going on, and my dream is to see as much of the world as I can. Not to say that I’ve been to that many countries, more because I’m curious how the people are and how they live their life. I’m interested in their culture and the environment they live in. I love the nature, being outside, go hiking and swimming in the ocean. And I hope that people along my journey are like-minded, so we can share some adventures.

Where am I going next?

My mission is Asia, I wanna go to India and do my 200 hours of yoga, so I can be an instructor in the future.

What kind of person am I?

Well I think it's weird to describe myself, but I'll give it a try.
I'm a caring, open minded and relaxed girl. I'm friendly in anyways, I'll do whatever I can to help, I'm rich on knowledge about travel and stories but poor in my bank account.
I believe in life, destiny and fate, so if you are at my place it's meant to be😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet locals for many reasons. The main reason is that a country is only as good as its people. Of course I am interested in all the nature, cities and monuments, but after years of travelling their is not much you haven’t seen... another temple, another waterfall, another mountain or jungle. What makes the difference between the places are the people you meet along your way. The way we travel by hitchhiking, public transportation and couchsurfing makes it very easy to meet locals. These are amazing opportunities to learn about country and culture, but also to save money if your on a budget. It’s an exchange of culture instead of service for money.
