ABOUT ME

My name is Laura, from France and Bulgaria and currently living in Bulgaria , back to my roots, after all my travels. I live in village with my grandmother, where I am learning everything from her about the village life, gardening, the bulgarian traditions, the folklore, the family stories hihi. If you come by, you will definitely enjoy drinking some Rakia with my Granny, she is super fun 😻.
I am someone really open minded, and happy ! I love to enjoy life, travel and meet new people ! I am really active as I can be tranquila.
If you guys are traveling around write me to see if I am there as I move often and with pleasure I will host and show you around :) If I am not, I can check if someone can help you out there :)
Either way, go and visit Devetshka peshtera and Krushunski Vodopadi, those two places are really beautiful !

You should visit them and they are really close to where I live :) You can even go by walking 40 minutes to the cave :). By the way, if you guys know the movie "The Expendables 2" , well they filmed inside the cave ! ;).
If you are traveling during summer, have fun fishing, swimming, doing barbecue at the river " Osum" the one in front of the cave. My village has two supemarket and one coffee bar where you can meet people, and use Wifi.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did couchsurfing in the west coast of the USA with my dad, and we just LOVED it ! We met so many people, talked about so many different subjects...just amazing. Then I used it with friends, traveling Souths of Spain, Italy and I used it by myself while traveling in Latin America (Mexico and Colombia), and then I continued solo traveling in Asia, Europe. I mean.... this is definitively the best way to travel, especially if you are an alone traveler, cause staying with locals has totally another meaning. You meet people so different, you learn stuff about the place where you are, they tell you stories, places to visit that are not in those books... I mean I love it ! :) You learn a lot, and you share a lot :).
And I love hosting too, showing them around, sharing stories, having fun laughing. My dad loves it, he is such a Tarzan/Indiana Jones Guide that you will love 😅.
All the people I have been meeting were amazing ! I had unforgettable moments with all of them, cute, nice, funny and welcoming... it is like meeting friends.
I do love courchsurfing, this is an amazing experience that I keep recommanding to people :)

Interests

During my free time I like to work out, take the sun (if there is some :P)... I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. And I love traveling with Couchsurfing :).
