ABOUT ME

My best friends would say that I am an extremely caring and giving individual. I always try to see the best in people and I am a good shoulder to cry on/to lean on when times get rough. I am very loyal and I always know how to analyze a situation in order to lighten the burden. I really value honesty and I don't make time for people who don't prioritize this.

Interests

I am easily interested in almost anything. The reason for this is not that I don't know what I like, but that I like things not necessarily for what they are, but for the experience they might bring. I am really interested in different cultures and in exploring how other people understand their surroundings. This usually makes me very open minded. I tend to gravitate towards anthropology, philosophy and psychology and I always strive to improve. I have recently become really interested in the age old question of "why are we here?" and I had been exploring how different religions express answers to this question. This has lead me to dabble in meditation which is my most recent undertaking. I also like to run, do Nike training club, dance and cook. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

only three?!?! Ahh to live a life that void of awe is to not live at all. Just today I was awestruck by the beauty of the sky as the sunset painted the clouds a yellow-orange hue, by the protruding rocks in the middle of the rainforest floor that form walls of earthy colors and the discoveries RadioLab related to me. I have seen the crystal clear waters of Puerto Rico, cried infront of paintings at the Musée d'Orsay, and been kissed by someone I really liked for the first time. But the monents that stand out to me the most are the ones when I am walking somewhere ordinary and the extraodinary happens because I opened my eyes.
