I am Laura, open-minded, optimistic, cheerful, easygoing, dependable and well organized public health nurse and outdoor/travel blogger from Finland. Atm I study and live in Bergen, Norway. I love travelling and I am more than happy to try new things and meet new people; I am (almost) always in, whatever the plan is!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted and surfed for a couple of times in Europe. I have really enjoyed couchsurfing and met awesome people, thanks for that!

Interests

In my spare time I travel, enjoy hiking in great outdoors and volunteer for Red Cross and Red Crescent movement. I also love to meet new people, go for a cup of tea and visit new places.

I am not a party animal, but sometimes it is also great to have a long night out! I try to find chances to try new things and I appreciate new experiences more than anything!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roadtrip in Sweden, all those mountains and waterfalls in the middle of nowhere were so cool!

Two weeks in Red Cross camp in Austria with awesome people from all over the world.

Exchange studies in Spain and Kenya during my nursing studies.

My gap year in UK, what can be better chance to meet new people and learn other cultures than moving to an another country and volunteering there!

My first skydive; It changed my life and taught me lot of things about myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Want to learn: New languages, about new cultures and lifestyles, taking better photos. I am also a terribly bad cook, so learning to cook is in my plans :D

Able to teach: Finnish, a bit of English, maybe something about Finnish way of live
