ABOUT ME

Let's see...Let's start with the basics. I'm Laura, 22, student and from Germany. I love traveling, seeing new amazing places and meeting new amazing people. But then again, who doesn't? I'm currently living in Leipzig (which is a pretty cool city) and enjoying my life as a university student. I love (making and listening to) music, I recently realized that I spend a fair amount of my free time watching movies, and I like breakfasts. And parks, I love taking long walks through parks.

Before I started University I lived in the States for 2 years (well, not quite, but almost 2 years), which was easily the most exciting, greatest, most amazing time of my life. Can't wait to go back and visit again later this year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just think it's a pretty cool way of traveling and seeing the world and meeting a ton of interesting people. And Couchsurfing is definitely responsible for some of my greatest and most exciting traveling moments.
I haven't really had the chance to get around as much as I would have liked to in the past year, but I'm definitely looking forward to making some great new memories this year.

What I Can Share with Hosts

To be honest, I'm not the greatest chef, so I'm not really the best person in the world to introduce you to any of Germany's culinary treats. But I like baking :) And in case of a spontaneous campfire or living room floor music session - I'm a decent guitar player.
Plus, I can offer free therapy sessions, based on my knowledge after 2 years of studying psychology ;)
Also, I can always teach you every German word you've always wanted to know.
