About Me

Curious, peaceful, open minded, messy and sometimes a bit clumsy... I always lose some stuff when travelling... :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard about couchsurfing when I was living in Beijing around 2009, but didn't start surfing until my trip in India (long time ago). It was awesome, I met very nice people and I couldn't stop talking about it.

I met very interesting people and got nice and unexpected adventures around with them. I got the feeling people can be truly good to each other.
Going to another part of the world and finding yourself talking with a group of people you've just met as if we knew since long time ago, sharing experiences about life, travels and some beers ;) That's the essence of travelling, the people! And CS just makes it easier!

Interests

Music, football, nature, yoga, travelling, hiking,...

I enjoy having some drinks while talking (sometimes even arguing) about different perspectives with everyone, share some laughs, and many other things!

Music, Movies, and Books

Into the wild... That was one if my favourites some years ago, now I can't choose any among others.

My memory is getting shorter as I grow, so I try to get everything at the time, enjoy the movies when I see them and forget about names...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Stay with the Karamajong in Uganda, see the kids to be afraid of us because we are white and end up laughing and playing all together (fear is everywhere, but happiness is only some tickles away). It's something you can live once in a life if you are lucky enough...

- Celebrate new year in Longsheng rice terraces (Guangxi, China), incredible!!

- See the sunset in Goa (India), magic :)

- Climb Huayna Potosi in Bolivia (6088m!)

There are a lot of amazing things we all do, when we fear to fail, but still do. They are some kind of amazing.

In terms of travelling, I think every adventure gives me the chance to break my own walls. Every time I change the routine for some days wearing the same clothes and having all my belongings in a small bag, it turns into the perfect moment to go further and keep pushing fear away from controlling my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I think I can learn from anyone, specially when I don't expect to be taught. I have things to share, more than teaching or learning. It's more about exchanging experiences :)
That's what CS is about, isn't it?

What I Can Share with Hosts

Optimism, nice talks and positive mind, everything washed down with some beer maybe? ;)
