ABOUT ME

I am a recent graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder where I studied Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature. I spent the year since I graduated working at a Montessori school, teaching yoga, and then going on a 6 week trip through South America. I love traveling and include it in all of my future plans. I am currently living in Boulder and planning to move in December to I don't know where quite yet. I am planning on going to graduate school for my masters in Marriage and Family Therapy in the fall of 2013.

PHILOSOPHY

I love being open to new experiences, new cultures, new people from all over the world. We learn from each other in the most profound ways and being connected to one another like brothers and sisters, though it sounds corny, is what life is all about.

I have met a lot of couch surfers along my way as a traveler and have loved hearing about their experiences!

Interests

I love being outdoors, mostly hiking. I also like rock climbing when I can. I practice a ton of yoga as well as teach. I love reading and writing, speaking spanish. Traveling is a huge passion for me! I also love good food and good wine!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Wes Anderson films, I like listening to NPR radio, reading the New York Times, Malcolm Gladwell books, and novels from different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I just came back from 6 weeks traveling, mainly solo, through Peru, Chile, and Argentina. Great adventures, great people met, great sights seen!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach yoga - that is probably the best thing that I can offer to anyone who stays with me. I can also help people who are trying to learn english because I have my TEFL certificate.
