About Me
Hello, hallo, ciao!
I am a recently graduated Masters student, currently based.. well, I'm not quite sure! Since I've recently graduated I am going from internship to internship, traveling around often. Hopefully staying somewhere more permanent soon! I would describe myself as outgoing, yet introverted, creative, athletic and thoughtful. There is certainly a sassy side to my personality once you get to know me, but when it comes down it I would say that I am a kind, gentle-hearted person.
I'm crazy about food and a passionate vegetarian. I wrote my thesis on the protection of the Right to Food and am generally very interested in food politics and food culture. I love to cook and am happy to be involved in the kitchen with my hosts if they're interested. I think food also plays a big part in the couchsurfing environment, because how else can you get to know a culture best than through your stomach!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined couchsurfing several years ago because a lot of the traveling that I do I do alone, so it is always nice to have someone there to share the experience with.
I've never hosted before, but I've surfed many times (in France and in Germany). I've also met up with people when I lived in Munich. I was working as a tour guide then, so it just seemed natural to show others around my city!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I moved to Italy not knowing anyone or speaking any Italian, and I have come a long way since then. I do not yet speak Italian but I have built up a circle of friends and I now consider Italy another home away from home.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some English or German, and I'm a pretty good cook (although only for vegetarian fare).
