Overview
About Me
I love nothing better than experiencing different cultures, sights, sounds, smells, sharing and swapping stories with people from all over the world! I can be an extrovert but am also very good at reading situations and if you need a bit of space I won't be offended, I'm happy to entertain myself as I'm not someone that gets easily bored!
In general I'm a very happy and excitable person who knows how lucky she is to be free to be travelling this epic planet!!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Some of the best experiences I have had whilst travelling have been as a result of couchsurfing. I love the buzz of meeting people I never would have met if I'd stayed in the small corner of England where I'm from!
The world on the whole is full of warm, kind and genuine people and meeting them is the essence of what couchsurfing is for me.
Interests
Exploring new places, stationary, vintage posters, embroidery, textures and textiles, art galleries, street art, staring out of train/bus windows, hearing mind boggling facts, keeping in touch with family and friends - near and far, health and fitness, frothy coffees, food!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam in the lagoon at the bottom of the world's highest waterfall.
Lived with a Masai family.
Sat on the equator twice in one year, on two different continents!
Swum with whale sharks
Ran a marathon
Hitch hiked to Nordkapp/Arctic circle.
Travelled over 5700km in platzkart on the Trans-Siberian in winter and survived to tell the tale! ;)
Teach, Learn, Share
Trees don't grow even. They don't grow straight. Just however makes them happy.
