ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Laura, I'm 26 and from Germany.
After highschooI I traveled around the world and I loved it. I came back to Germany where I trained as pharmacy technician. So now I'm ready to work in a pharmacy which I'll do when I'm back. To save some money for my next trip I was always working as a lifeguard and I love it! But yeah, traveling is my number one so I started in August 2017.

What I realized on my trip- I can talk a lot and I'm always open for stupid and crazy things like jumping into a glacier lake. I can be funny and talk a lot but it's always the same, if there is a big group I'm more the quiet person. Definitely better in talking in smaller groups!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had awesome couchsurfing experiences all over the world and some of them got really good friends. It's not just offering a place to sleep, it's so much more. Sharing stories, showing best local spots and the fact to have friends in a totally unfamiliar country/ city. For me it's really about spending time together with friends and about having fun. Would never travel without couchsurfing again.

Intereses

I absolutely love traveling. I feel like a different person, always open to do stupid and crazy stuff.
I love swimming a lot and beeing outside with friends, walking, running, BBQ..
Back home I played the clarinet and saxophone or spend some time with organize for example vacation camps for children. To be honest, right now I'm not doing it but actually I miss these kind of hobbies.

Música, películas y libros

I love music a lot. It's so powerful and if it's loud while I'm walking I feel super majestic specially with soundtracks. I hear nearly every kind of music, depends on my mood.
And I absolutely love movies. While traveling I don't really watch movies but I'm always happy if I get the possibility. I love the Avengers, Lord of the rings, Pirates of the Carribean, lucky number Slevin and actually so much more. Horror, action, comedy.. I love it all.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I'm always thinking about because it's really difficult to decide after so many awesome moments while traveling. So one mind- blowing thing I've seen was the underwater world in Fiji. While snorkeling there I never felt freedom so much, all this fishes, corals, colors, awesome!
And I definitely have more stories to tell but even the fact that I'm traveling around the world, "alone", makes me feel proud of myself sometimes! :)
