About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Experience as much as possible, so I can always return home with a whole lot of stories to tell and new experiences to benefit from.
ABOUT ME
I am Laura, an 19-year-old girl from Germany. I graduated from high school in June 2014 and am now living and studying in Berlin.
I am very open-minded and, since I have lived in a number of different homes over the years, I think I'm pretty easy-going too.
I always love meeting new people and getting to see more of a city than a normal tourist would.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing allows you to see the place you visit in different perspectives and makes you meet so many different people. It's just more exciting than staying in a hotel!
Hosting Couchsurfers is also a really nice way to get some fresh air in my household, and also see my familiar surroundings in a new light.
Interests
I'm interested in all kinds of art, though I rarely find the time to make my own. I like photography. I like finding new artists in music. I also really enjoy watching documentaries about something I didn't know about before. Languages are a big passion of mine, I'm always eager to learn more and find out not only about how to communicate in another language but also about its origin and the culture that surrounds it.
Of course, I'm not doing this all the time - in fact, I love going out in the town with friends or just having a chilled day in the park or city!

Music, Movies, and Books
There's no particular style of music that I prefer, really depends on my mood. Sometimes it's: Electronic, Hip Hop, Lounge House, or any other Chill electronic genre (they have weird names these days..), Reggae, Acoustic Music, Indie Rock, to just name a few.
There's so much music I haven't discovered yet so always when I find something new that I like I'm really happy!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's so many little things that one should and can be proud of doing almost every day, which is why I can't tell you one thing in particular, that amazed me.
I guess the most recent thing was getting a friend of mine to the next gas station on the Autobahn and seeing him getting a ride to his next stop in about 10 minutes. That felt pretty good.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've always been someone who's not scared to try new things and who's accepting to whatever lifestyle they're introduced to. Be it new food, new music, art, or literature, I can say I've only learned so much from people I've met. So I hope I can bring some fresh air into somebody's household and just have nice conversation and a cup of tea or coffee together.
Also, I've travelled over the last few years and have a lot of stories from my travels to share!
